Use a custom domain

Point your own domain at your tip page - one DNS record and a Link click.

With TipPage+ your tip page can live on your own domain - tips.yourname.com instead of yourname.tippage.com. Setup is one DNS record.

Enter your domain

Go to Settings, Branding, and find the Custom domain field in the Your TipPage panel. Enter the domain you want, like tips.yourname.com.

Add the DNS record

The panel shows you the exact record to create at your DNS provider:

Type CNAME (or ALIAS/flattened CNAME for a root domain)
Name your subdomain, e.g. tips (or @ for a root domain)
Target gateway.tippage.com

Link domain

Back in the dashboard, click Link domain. We check the record points at us before saving, then sort the SSL certificate automatically - the status chip goes Checking, then Issuing cert, then Secured. Use Check now if you’re impatient; DNS changes can take a few minutes to propagate.

Removing or changing it

Edit or Remove in the same panel. Removing falls back to your .tippage.com subdomain. If your TipPage+ subscription ends, the custom domain is removed automatically - so keep the subdomain link posted somewhere too.
